High frequency pulsators

Universal resonance pulsators are manufactured as 5 kN, 10 kN, 20 kN, 50 kN, 100 kN, 150 kN, 250 kN, 400 kN, 600 kN, 1,000 kN, 1,200 kN, 1,500 kN and 2,000kN and with the accordant devices they are even suitable for the discharge of bending and torsion loads, beside the axial load of components.

These machines are quoted with two different drive systems.

  1. Component test machine with electromotive POWER SWING MOT drive
    Advantage: Large displacements up to 12 mm; suitable for components with big strokes, damping and components with clearance
  2. Material test machine with electromagnetic POWER SWING MAG drive
    Advantage: Test frequencies up to 300 Hz

Using resonance test technology and the high test frequencies involved, it is possible to reduce the test periods up to a factor of 10 and test costs up to a factor of 200. A resonance test machine amortizes completely within the first two years because of the extremely low energy costs, compared to servohydraulic systems.

Because of the innovative and universal software EMOTION, not only single step tests but also tensile tests, characteristic curves, block programs, RANTEC-tests (service load tests) and fracture mechanical tests can be accomplished.

Due to the universality of these test systems, nearly all strength relevant components and units can be tested.

Beside the development of the universal high frequency pulsators, SincoTec has enlarged the resonance principle by a multitude of new application fields since its foundation in 1991. From this continuous and innovative development process a wide range of special resonance test systems arose, which still keeps growing due to the continuously developing requirements of our customers. SincoTec has a wide choice of servo hydraulic standard and special test systems at its disposal. This test technology is predestined to carry out uniaxial as well as multiaxial service load tests.

Using innovative test devices, bending, torsion and superposed loads can be induced beside axial loads.

For this purpose, a flexible add-on system for the assembly of complex test configurations is offered.

Using the intelligent controller TestPilot, single step and multi-step with force or stroke control can be accomplished. Our standard signals are sinus, rectangle, triangle, sawtooth and user-defined. The professional software package CoPilot offers the opportunity to create, to depict visual and to record your tests. Furthermore, it's possible to configure your test systems easily in order to ensure an easy graphical creation of complicate testing procedures. The software also offers the opportunity to link different actuators above several controllers to one test system.

Servo pneumatic

The favorable alternative to hydraulic

Contrary to the widely spread opinion, it is possible to generate loads with frequencies up to 50 Hz with pneumatic technology using diaphragm cylinder technology. Up to a load of ca. 10 kN up to 20 kN the pneumatic technology often is a favorable alternative to the hydraulic technology, because the purchase costs, the operating costs and the costs for infrastructure are of less importance.

Spindle drive

Spindle actuators for a high accuracy regarding stroke and force controlled tests

With spindle actuators, speeds up to 1.5 m/s and frequencies up to 30 Hz can be generated. A very interesting fact is, that spindle actuators do not need an expensive infrastructure like central hydraulic, cooling or rather compressors. A standard rotating current connection is sufficient.

The main advantage of this test technology is the high accuracy for stroke and force controlled tests. The spindle actuator features a pre-stressed ball screw, so that a high durability can be assured.

Regarding rotating bending, SincoTec has a wide range of standard and special rotating bending test systems at its disposal.

The repertoire comprises resonance rotating bending test systems for the automotive and commercial vehicle field, mass loaded rotating bending test systems, 4-point rotating bending test systems, optionally with temperature chamber or corrosion chamber, biaxial wheel bearing / wheel flange test systems, railway wheel set test systems, wheel test systems as well as diverse customized test systems.

Internal pressure test systems

Internal pressure test system HIGH IMPRESSION

High-frequency, high-pressure tests up to 4,000 bar using resonance test systems.

The requirements for motor injection systems rise due to the increasing expectations of the customers and developing environmental legislation. Enhancing the injection pressures is a targeting solution to reduce the fuel consumption.

With resonance driven high-pressure test systems it is possible to generate pressures up to 4,000 bar with frequencies up to 60 Hz. Consequently, different pressurized components can be tested with respect to their internal pressure durability within a short period and can be developed efficiently and competitively.

In comparison to usual servo hydraulic driven test systems, which usually operate with 8 Hz up to 12 Hz and at an energy consumption of more than 100 kW, the resonance driven high-pressure test systems are characterized by a much higher test frequency and a much lower energy consumption of max. 4 kW. Using resonance test technology and the high test frequencies involved, it is possible to reduce the test periods up to a factor of 10 and test costs up to a factor of 200. A resonance test machine amortizes completely within the first two years because of the extremely low energy costs compared to servohydraulic systems.

Beside loading the components with internal pressure, it is also possible to induce a superposed dynamic excitation using a shaker and a simulation of the surrounding temperature using a conditioning device. The superposed dynamic excitation makes it possible to excite injection cables in their resonance frequency, to temper and to load them with internal pressure at the same time. An operation related simulation of the environmental conditions can be guaranteed.

Regarding resonance test machines, it is a novelty that not only single step tests but also block programs and even RANTEC tests (service load tests) can be accomplished by the control software EMOTION II.

Typical components are fuel rails, diesel injection cables and common rail components.

Since its foundation in 1991, SincoTec has developed a multitude of customized test machines due to the continuously increasing requirements of the customers and due to innovative development processes.

As a result of this development work, a wide range of customized test systems emerged. Because of the requirements of our customers and our own research and development activities, the know-how and the performance of the test systems grow continuously.

Clamping devices

Clamping devices for axial and torsion loads

Clamping devices form the most important part of the test machines. Concerning the nominal loads, the machines have to be rated for endurance strength, have to be manufactured precisely and the surfaces must be designed wear-proofed. The geometry and the load application have to be featured, so that no objectionable loads can affect the component.

Since its foundation SincoTec is manufacturer of test machines within the dynamic test technology and operator of a test laboratory with ca. 120 dynamic test systems, on which components from all industrial fields can be tested regarding dynamic load round-the-clock. In the course of time we developed a big number of innovative clamping concepts, which guarantee a stress-related load and which proved their value under continuous operation in our own test laboratory.

With these clamping devices nearly all components can not only be loaded axial, but also torsional with bending and rotating bending.

Additional devices offer the opportunity to load components under corrosive surroundings or e.g. under temperature. The load range comprises samples, which are loaded in the range of 0.1 N up to components e.g. from the commercial vehicle field, which are loaded with 1,000 kN.

Beside many standard clamping devices for e.g. material samples and special component clamping devices for e.g. screws, con-rods, chains, crank shafts, we develop the suitable clamping concept adapted to your test system.

Software

Software for resonance test systems

The principle item of our resonance test systems is the software package EMOTION, which is applied thousandfold in industrial and academic research and development laboratories. We keep developing this professional and fully developed software and test it in our own test laboratory intensely. The advantages of this software are the high flexibility and the enormous coverage of the additional options.

Using this innovative test system control software EMOTION II.1, you have not only the possibility to accomplish single step tests but also static characteristic curves, burst tests, block programs, crack mechanical tests and even RANTEC tests (service load tests). Moreover, you can pilot additional devices like hot-gas generators, corrosion pumps, measuring devices, cooling systems, etc.

Different additional modules offer the opportunity to survey and to record the test parameters and the results like e.g. time recording, online classing, FFT, form factor, etc.

Our evaluation software LABMOTION makes it possible to evaluate your results statistically regarding the range of endurance and fatigue strength directly at the test system or via network access at the work station. As result you will obtain a documentation of your test, ready for issuing the report.

Software for hydraulic systems, pneumatic systems as well as spindle actuators

Regarding hydraulic and pneumatic systems as well as spindle actuators, our software CoPilot combined with our controller TestPilot offers also the opportunity to accomplish uniaxial tests, multiaxial synchronized tests and block programs. Using simple graphical sequential programs, it's also possible to create complex processes.

Furthermore, CoPilot offers the possibility to combine several controllers and controller axles to one test system easily and flexible, even with completely different adaptors.

Software for customized test systems

For your customized test systems, we also develop, beside mechanic and electronic, the necessary software to control and to survey the test systems.

The programming of the special software solutions is effected with Delphi, C++, LabView and Embedded Linux.

High-precision measurement techniques for test technology

High-precision measurement technology is the main basis for innovative test technology. We offer you high-precision sensors combined with the use of the optimal physical basic principles for the particular application. Force sensors, moment transducers, displacement transducers, angle sensors, discharge measurement devices, accelerometers, pressure sensors, temperature sensors are a part of this.

Beside the "standard sensor technology" we develop, manufacture, apply and calibrate special customized sensors with DKD-traceable sensors in our test laboratory. These sensors often adjoin to the physical possible.
